Mass volunteering for arriving refugees

As the Russian invasion of Ukraine began, thousands of refugees traveled daily to Berlin. There, they met hundreds of devoted volunteers waiting for them in the main train and bus stations of the German capital.  Here we present the spontaneous grassroots efforts amounting to mass volunteering that occurred in Berlin during  2022-3.
