Community cooking with Über den Tellerrand e.V.

There’s a great community cooking event coming up in Friedenau in cooperation with Über den Tellerrand e.V. and hosted by Salvation Army Berlin.

We’re planning to have an Arabic-influenced cooking session with the topic “50 plates of nuts”. The cooking will be done by refugees along with new and long-time Berliners, who want to cook and eat some delicious food together.

The event should give everyone a chance to exchange experiences about volunteering, being new in Berlin & of course food culture! We would definitely be up for having more and regularly occurring communal cooking events in Friedenau in the future!
