PROJEKT

Marzahn-Hellersdorf

Berlin

PROJECT

Marzahn-Hellersdorf

Marzahn-Hellersdorf has one of the biggest amounts of refugees, including children and elderly people, living in refugee accommodation centres in Berlin.

BEVOS is assisting community shelters in Marzahn-Hellersdorf through creating and supporting short and long term volunteer projects.

Refugee community shelters need volunteers for facilitating different projects including language cafes and tandems, sport activities for children and teenagers, assistance with homework, art projects, accompanying refugees to their appointments, accompanying teenagers to youth clubs, and assistance with translation.

Would you like to help out in one of our projects? We are searching for volunteers to assist refugees in shelter beautification with one day fun activities such as: mural painting (graffiti) or community garden repair.

Russian, Georgian, Farsi/Dari, Arabic, and German are needed the most, to support refugees in the community shelter, but of course, you don’t need to speak these languages to help out!

If you are interested in supporting this project you can write us a message to info@bevos.org.
